Tariq Khamisa Foundation
The Sweetwater Union High School District has partnered with the Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF) to educate and motivate students in the understanding of restorative practices.  TKF programs center around community service and mentoring.   Their approach is designed to reduce negative behaviors such as violence, delinquency, school truancy and gang involvement.   The collaboration and partnership will encourage students to make healthier decisions, seek positive problem solving, allow open communication and learn restorative practices that impact their overall success in the classroom and their role as a contributing member of the community.
