Sweetwater Union High School District is proud to support students and staff in creating safe spaces and building an inclusive environment during Pride Month and throughout the year. We are excited to take this celebratory action in the first raising of the Pride Flag at the District to symbolize our commitment to inclusivity, respect, and empowerment in support of diversity within our school community.
The Sweetwater Union High School District is a LGBTQIA+ inclusive environment and we are committed to supporting the needs of each student. From this page, SUHSD educators can access resources and tools to create safe and inclusive classrooms supportive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQIA+) students. Our goals are to create school environments that are safe and respectful for all students and adults, and eliminate educational barriers based on gender, race/ethnicity, national origin, color, disability, age, sexual orientation and gender expression so that all students meet the same rigorous standards for academic performance.
